What is it (1-2 sentences)

Fullstory is user experience tool that lets you record your users as they visit your site to see if they're going through the funnel you intended. It also checks for bounces, rage clicks, and other bad UX holes you may not have realized.

Why I like it (2-4 sentences)

I've never really had a tool like this. I heard about it from someone on my team who used it at another company. Basically, you drop the pixel into your site using Google Tag Manager and it just starts to work. You can watch your users browse your site, and it's really helpful to get non-biased data for your UX. Since we run an ecommerce site, it's also interesting to see if the user ever makes it to the cart and then watch them go back and forth to complete their purchase. It helps us figure out where we could make touch points clearer or easier

Why I dislike it (2-4 sentences)

There is a potential creepy factor that you may need to address in your privacy policy. You also have to be super aware of important customer data you want scrubed out of tracking (e.g. usernames, PWs, credit cards, etc.) If you don't do this right, you could be passing a ton of private data into Fullstory, which does violate their terms, but it's also really easy to forget to scrub those values from Full Story reporting. Also, the free tier is okay for most, but if you have a growing site or you have a really big PR hit and you get a ton of traffic, you'll blow through the free tier of events really quickly.
